A Trip to Dynamic Island

Is it worth trading in your iPhone 13 to dive into the iPhone 14? While the iPhone 14 looks nearly identical to the iPhone 13, there are some subtle changes that could make a BIG difference – especially if selfies and clear photography is mission-critical to your business.

What’s new in iOS 16?

Apple has released the latest version of its mobile operating system, iOS 16. Here are the brand new features you’ll love (and the ones you may not want to use at all!)

  • Dynamic Island: The Dynamic Island is a new design element that is exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro models. It’s a small cutout that houses the camera module and is located in the top left corner of the device. The Dynamic Island is made up of two parts: a metal frame that surrounds the camera lens and an integrated circuit board that contains the image sensor and other components. All this combined helps render brighter colors and retain more detail in your selfies.
  • Read More: this means that the iPad will now dynamically change depending on what app you open. For example, if you open Safari to check Facebook, the Dock and other menus are changed to reflect your current activity. This is great for saving time and keeping your device neat and tidy. However, it can also be frustrating if you suddenly find that the Dock has changed without any warning. Thankfully, you can change the settings on your iPad to turn off Dynamic Dock.

All you need to do is head over to Settings > General > Multitasking & Dock and toggle “Dock Changes” to Off. Use Spotlight to Find Your Favorite Apps

  • Spotlight Search: If you have a lot of apps on your iPad, then you’ll know how hard it can be to find the app you want. Because of this, Apple decided to include the Spotlight Search feature in iOS 7. This allows you to search for apps, music, movies and more from anywhere on your device.
